Prayer for Protection Against Mental Distractions

In the name of Jesus, I stand against and resist any demonic distractions that would attempt to hijack my thoughts by means of daydreaming, passivity, rumination, indifference, dissociation, defeatism, ungodly fantasies, and self-indulgence. I come against the memory recall of ungodly, disturbing, and traumatic experiences. I plead the blood of Jesus over my thoughts and against all demonic mental attacks.

Prayer for a Guarded Mind

I decree that my memory, thoughts, and reasoning are free from all demonic influences and distractions. I decree and declare the Holy Spirit stands guard at the doorway of my heart. I decree that nothing wicked will manifest in my life. I am protected from anything the enemy has tried to project into my thoughts and my life.

Prayer for a Renewed Spirit and Conviction

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You stir up such a deep love and conviction for holiness in me that my spirit would instantly recall Your word. I decree and declare that the Lord protects my mind from wicked thoughts and memories. My mind consumes the word of God and is renewed daily. 

Prayer for Strength and Discernment

May the power and authority of God give me strategies concerning how to fight the good fight of faith against every attack that comes against my thought life. Even as I sleep, my mind gravitates to the Lord. Holy Spirit, may Your ministering angels watch over me as I sleep. I decree that I lay down in peace, casting my cares upon the Lord. I repent of every sin known and unknown. Lord, create in me a clean heart and renew in me a right spirit.

Prayer for Alignment with God’s Will

My mind is full of the word of God, and I am anointed by God to discern how to resist the devil in every situation. My heart is surrendered to God’s ways, and my feet shall not slip or be removed from the course the Lord has laid before me. I decree and declare I move in alignment with God and my steps are ordered.
